This friendly, step-by-step workshop is designed for beginners and anyone looking to build confidence in portrait drawing. You'll begin by learning a simple technique for drawing facial features and understanding the proportions of the face. Once you've completed your line drawing, you'll transform it into a striking acrylic portrait using bold, blocked colours to create a modern 2D style. What you'll learn: A simple method for drawing faces accurately. How to position facial features with confidence. How to use acrylic paints in bold blocks of colour. Techniques for creating shape, contrast and a contemporary 2D portrait. What's included: All materials supplied. Step-by-step tuition. Your own finished acrylic portrait to take home. Suitable for: Beginners and improvers – no previous drawing or painting experience is needed.

Art Workshop Booking and Refund Policy 1. Minimum Participation Requirement: The workshop requires a minimum of 10 participants to take place. If fewer than 10 participants are booked, the workshop will be canceled, and all participants will be fully refunded. Refunds will be processed 48 hours before the scheduled workshop date. Must wear old clothes. 2. Refund Policy for Cancellations by Participants: If you are unable to attend the workshop, you may request a refund. Refund requests must be made at least 24 hours before the workshop's scheduled start time. Refunds will not be available for requests made less than 24 hours before the event. 3. Refund Process: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during booking. Please allow up to 7 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account. 4. Workshop Cancellations: In the unlikely event that the workshop is cancelled by the organisers, participants will be notified as soon as possible. All participants will receive a full refund if the workshop is cancelled by the organisers. 5. Changes to the Workshop Schedule: The workshop organisers reserve the right to make changes to the schedule or location of the workshop. In the event of significant changes, participants will be notified, and refund options will be provided.
